A screen recording or a phone clip, trimmed down and ready to send to your team — that’s the whole job. Video Clipper isn’t for making films.

Other tools go one of two ways. Full editors hand you timelines, tracks and keyframes, and a weekend to learn them. The web ones put your footage behind an upload bar and a monthly fee. This is the small thing in between: open a clip, keep the part that matters, get it out.

Chat apps cap your attachments. Slack, Discord, Teams and email all have a file-size limit, and a raw recording blows past it in seconds.

So the fixes are front and centre — trim the dead air off the ends, cut out the bits nobody needs, mute or drop the audio, resize, and compress to a target size. It’s ffmpeg underneath, so trims are quick and the quality holds up. Everything runs on your machine: no upload, no account.

Joining two clips or laying a voiceover over a recording is in there too, behind an Advanced toggle — stitching isn’t the main idea, so it stays out of the way until you want it.
